Privacy Policy

Who we are

Kayf («كيف؟») publishes short explainer videos on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. "Kayf Publisher" is our own internal tool. It is used only by the Kayf team to upload and manage videos on Kayf's own YouTube channel.

What data the app accesses

When the Kayf team signs in with Google, Kayf Publisher asks for permission to upload videos to the Kayf YouTube channel and to read that channel's basic information, such as its ID, title and video list. It does not request access to any other Google data.

How we use it

We use this access only to publish Kayf's own videos and to check that they were published correctly. We do not collect data about viewers or any other users. We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Storage and security

The sign-in credential (an OAuth refresh token) is kept on our own private server, in a protected file that only the publishing service can read. We keep it only while the tool is in use.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Kayf Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Kayf uses YouTube API Services; see also the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Revoking access

Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When it is revoked, we delete the stored token.
